# Search any shop for products.

Ask for products by keyword, on one shop or across shops, in any country and language. Each result comes back as a product: title, price, shop, rating and a product_id for the next step. Up to 5 credits a search; failed or empty searches are free.

What you ask

## A keyword. A shop if you want one.

In an agent, just ask: “find running shoes under $100 at US shops”. The agent calls `search_products` with these inputs.

| Input | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `query` | What to look for, in any language: "running shoes", "ワイヤレスイヤホン". |
| `site` | Optional. One shop, as a domain (amazon.de) or a name. Leave it out to search across shops. |
| `country` | Two-letter market code, US by default. Picks the shop's market when site is a name. |
| `limit` | Up to 20 products, 10 by default. |
| `format` | structured (common product fields) or raw (also the shop's own JSON, where it has one). |
| `max_credits` | Optional budget. If the search could cost more, nothing runs and nothing is charged. |

What comes back

## Products, not pages.

A real search for “Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones” across US shops, read on 27 October 2026 at 05:37 UTC.

Prices are what each shop showed at that time. They are a dated snapshot, not current prices.

| Field | What it holds |
| --- | --- |
| `title` | The listing's title |
| `price` | Amount, currency and the shop's own wording |
| `original_price` | The price before a discount, when the shop shows one |
| `shop` | Which shop sells it |
| `rating, review_count` | When the shop shows them |
| `image_url, url` | The product image and the page, when the result has them |
| `availability` | In stock or not, when the shop says |
| `product_id` | Pass it to get_product for details and every seller's price |

FAQ

## A few useful answers.

Does it search one shop or many?

Either. Set site to search one shop, or leave it out to search across shops in the country you choose.

Which countries and languages?

Any country with a two-letter code. Search in the shop's own language: local-language searches return local listings. Coverage differs by country and product.

Are the prices live?

Each result is what the shop showed when it was read, and every answer says when (meta.as_of). Prices change, so treat a result as a dated snapshot, not a verified current price.

What does a search cost?

Up to 5 credits a search, whatever the number of results. Failed or empty searches are free. Every account starts with 200 free credits. Before anything runs, check_site gives a shop's price.
